Store Credit Tag Hider helps merchants hide Store Credit at checkout when a cart contains a product tagged deposit.

Information we process

The app stores the installing shop domain, Shopify authorization session information, and the permissions required to operate the app. Shopify Functions transiently evaluates product tag matches and available payment-method identifiers during checkout.

Customer information

The app does not request or store customer names, addresses, email addresses, payment-card information, order history, or Store Credit balances. Checkout information evaluated by Shopify Functions is not retained by the app.

How information is used

Information is used only to authenticate the merchant, activate the payment customization, provide support, and maintain app security. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Storage and deletion

Authorization sessions are stored using a secured production database. Sessions are removed after uninstall and in response to Shopify's mandatory privacy deletion requests.

Service providers

Shopify processes checkout and Shopify Function execution. The app hosting and database providers process only the technical information needed to run the service.
